A2 The choir organ was originally built by the Stoltz brothers in 1875, at the same time as the construction of the main tribune organ (by the same builders). The instrument then comprised 11 stops arranged over two manuals of 56 notes each and a coupler pedalboard (without its own stops). The console was separate and turned so that the organist faced the choir. The organ was extensively modified in a neobaroque style by HaerpferErman in 1970, including a second keyboard with four stops, as well as the organ case and the console. In 1987, overhaul by Dargassies. In 2020, the organ was completely restored by Bernard Dargassies and Gaël Coutelier: the engine was replaced, the instrument was brought up to current electrical standards, part of the console and pedalboard were repaired, the bellows were restored, and the pipes were carefully cleaned and dusted.
